Chef/Owner

Chef Jered Evangelos grew up in Medicine Hat, Alberta within a family heavily saturating the local restaurant industry. With a grandfather, parents, and an uncle all owning and operating their own restaurants and franchises it’s no wonder that Chef Jered’s culinary journey has brought him to running one of Edmonton’s top catering companies – Thrive Catering Co.

Chef Jered’s food philosophy is simple. By using quality ingredients, as fresh and local as possible combined with a love for preparing all varieties of cuisine, he let’s the food speak for itself. Chef Jered’s greatest joy is simply serving others and watching people truly enjoy their meal.

Catering Director/Owner

Lisa Evangelos is Edmonton born and bred, and proud of it. She also grew up in a family with a flair for food. Throughout her childhood and to this day her parents have been part of a Gourmet Club that got together monthly to celebrate food from different cultures and cuisines, giving Lisa an early introduction to the foodie world.

Lisa has had considerable experience within the hospitality, customer service, administrative and special event sectors. Along with Jered, Lisa too takes great joy in serving others and helping them plan and execute their functions to run as smoothly as possible.
